About Burlington Baroque

BURLINGTON BAROQUE has been founded in 2024 to present concerts of historically informed performance to Burlington, Vermont and its region.

Performances feature Montréal's critically-acclaimed period-instrument orchestra L'Harmonie des saisons, vocal soloists of international distinction, and members of the Burlington Baroque Festival Singers, a select ensemble of vocalists from across the state of Vermont, which has been constituted specially to collaborate on Burlington Baroque projects.

The Festival Singers joined artists-in-residence ensemble L'Harmonie des saisons in their first performance,  J. S. Bach's St John Passion, on Sunday, March 24, 4:00 p.m.at College Street Congregational Church, Burlington.
